During the end of March and throughout April, we’ll start a new five-week series on Christian unity entitled, "Wii." One of the characteristics of the Nintendo Wii is that it brings a lot of people together through avatars and games to create a sort of gaming community (hence the play on words "wii" and "we"). Our Christian community is much more substantial. Throughout this study, we'll be going through the book of Philippians as we take a look at how God calls us to be a spiritual body and what that implies for our church and, specifically, our youth group.
In this series we will talk about how we are united as believers in Christ in the following ways:
United in Christ (March 24)
United in Prayer (March 31)
United in Love (April 14)
United in Accountability (April 21)
United in Service (April 28)
In addition to the Bible studies, we'll be participating in some fun and crazy games and engaging in small group discussions to further build unity in our group.
