COME to Christ

GROW in Christ

LIVE for Christ in a Lifestyle of Worship

These ideas are all found in in Exodus 3. Our name and logo are based on this passage.

"The angel of the LORD appeared to him in a blazing fire from the midst of a bush;and he looked, and behold, the bush was burning with fire, yet the bush was not consumed. So Moses said, "I must turn aside now and see this marvelous sight, why the bush is not burned up."When the LORD saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, "Moses, Moses!"
And he said, "Here I am.""

How does a person COME to Christ? It's as easy as A-B-C. First begin by "A"dmitting you are a sinner. The Bible tells us that "all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." Next, you must "B"elieve. We are told in John 3:16 that "whosoever believes will not perish but have eternal life." Lastly, "C"onfess your faith in Jesus as your Savior and Lord. That means tell someone! We welcome you to come tell a minister in our church that you have asked Jesus to be your Lord and Savior.

How can I GROW in Christ? The first step to growing in Christ is to begin following Him through baptism. This is an important step in your growth as a Christian, as it is the way you begin to let the world know that you are following Christ. Another important component to your Christian growth is to spend time praying, reading His Word and by memorizing what His word tells us. Hebrews 4:12 says, "the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart."

What does it mean to LIVE for Christ in a Lifestyle of Worship? Live a lifestyle of worship in your day-to-day activities by "praying continually" (1 Thessalonians 5:17), and radiating the love and light of Jesus Christ. We are called to be "salt and light" to a world that is unseasoned and dark. (Matthew 5:13-16). So get out there and LIVE, causing others to ask, what's different about YOU? .... and then lead them to your Savior, too!
